Øyvind Lauvbakk has on the 14th September 2020 taken over as the new CFO of AquaGen. Øyvind is originally from Hemnesberget in Nordland county and is 39 years old. He has a master’s degree in economics and is a certified public accountant, with education from Bodø, Leeds and the Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen.
Øyvind has extensive experience from auditing and consulting in finance and business management from Ernst & Young, as well as five years’ experience from Norwegian Air Shuttle. Here he was Head of Business Controlling before moving to Trondheim with his family in 2018 and taking a position as finance manager at Melhus Bil.
In his position as CFO of AquaGen AS, Øyvind will have the overall responsibility for the finance function in the company and be central to the company’s strategy work and business development. Øyvind will have an office at Pirsenteret in Trondheim, and his role is part of the company’s management team. AquaGen looks forward to having an experienced manager for the company’s finance department and a competent business analyst in one of the company’s key positions.
Roger Oddebug leaves the position as CFO of AquaGen after seven years in the company and will start in another company from 1st October. Roger has played a central and important role for AquaGen during the time he has been in the company, and AquaGen wishes him good luck in his new role.
