AquaGen Scotland seeks new Site Manager

AquaGen Scotland are looking to strengthen our production team with a skilled, experienced manager with aquaculture experience.

The vacancy has arisen as a result of the incumbent relocating out of the area, leaving us with an opportunity to build on our production team’s skills and experience.

The primary production unit is located close to the market town of Dumfries, with easy access to north of England and the central belt of Scotland.  We are offering a competitive package for the role for the right fit in our organisation.  The successful candidate will have a can do, team orientated attitude, and as the site comes with a significant amount of infrastructure, will not be phased by management of water pumping, heating, chilling and recirculating plant.

The role will include participation and leadership of the on-call rota, as well as working alongside QMS and Engineering staff to develop and document operating procedures, as well as training staff, maintaining stock records and leading day to day operations on the site.
