Knut Røflo has been appointed CEO of AquaGen Europe

Knut Røflo (53) has been hired as the new CEO of AquaGen Europe. He will take up the position on November 1st 2022.

For the past 20 years, Knut has held several leading positions in Cermaq, EWOS and Felleskjøpet. He is currently the CEO of Felleskjøpet Fôrutvikling (FKF), as well as chairman of the board of the Foods of Press release AquaGen Norway project. He is also a board member of Topigs Norsvin, one of the world’s leading breeding companies for pigs. In his 13 years as CEO, Knut has led FKF through a phase of restructuring and commercialization in a sector with increasing international competition.

Going further, AquaGen will consolidate its position in the global fish egg market and meet new challenges and needs from the market with innovations and competitive edge throughout the value chain.

Knut Røflo has a Cand. Agric. degree from the Norwegian Agricultural College/NMBU with a Master degree in business and management, later supplemented with a Master of Management from BI Norwegian Business School.
